Did you know the influencer marketing industry is worth $21.1 billion? In other words: influencer marketing is BIG business that every company should include in their marketing plan. As a freelancer, I worked personally with influencers to research what’s trending online, plan social media calendars and write social posts. Now, as the lead social media copywriter at Campbell Ewald for our automotive client, I get to collaborate with the strategy and content teams to concept partnership ideas, create influencer briefs and write post copy across General Motors (OnStar, Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac).
Here are some of those social media influencer posts and campaigns.
Lifestyle influencer
@iamjamesmeeks is a dad influencer with over 150K social media followers. I came up with an idea to leverage a popular social media trend called #PassengerPrincess, for a product campaign that featured his wife and her brand new Cadillac. This organic post ended up doing big numbers: 565,235 plays across META (8x more than our previous top-performing collab post), 303+ hours spent with the brand and reached 90% non-followers on Instagram. And the stats for this content piece continues to climb everyday and will be leveraged for a paid campaign.

Tech influencer
@tussalty is a tech influencer with over one million followers across his social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X and Youtube). We came up with the idea to do a product campaign with him that featured OnStar tech and increased brand awareness to his millennial and gen z audience. Our idea is now a live campaign.

Teen lifestyle influencer
@thegracenova is a teen influencer with 100K+ followers across her social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Youtube). We briefed her on Teen Driving and Father’s Day content ideas. Here are a couple of her videos that I wrote post copy for.
