Website Copywriting — Chef Shari Shobe

Rebrand campaign for a private chef company. Includes brand tagline, local SEO copywriting, website copy and design, cornerstone article, social media and press release.

Challenge

Chef Shari Shobe, a private chef and caterer based in Metro Detroit. Her micro-influencer following on social media has transformed her chef business into a lifestyle brand. I was tasked to makeover her website to attract high-scale and celebrity clients.

Solution

I optimized her messaging for local search engines, used strategic keywords, and wrote a cornerstone article and engaging social media posts.

Tagline

Her tagline is bold and simple while tapping into the main goal of the folks who end up on her virtual doorstep.

Here’s her beautiful, bold and mobile-friendly website that incorporates strategic messaging and a cornerstone article about her annual charity.

I also wrote a PR article for website visitors to learn how they can donate to Chef Shobe’s Annual Spice Drive.

Social media

As part of her rebrand, I wrote a few organic social media posts for Instagram and Meta to compliment images and video captured by her photographer.

Press release

Charity work deserves recognition! I played a part in helping Chef Shobe shine a light on her Annual Spice Drive with a press release that led to her being featured on a local news channel.

Brand archetype

Since Shari Shobe is a chef, I used the Caregiver Brand Archetype to bring a warm, nurturing and confident tone to her website. When people visit her site, they feel:
