Social Media Copywriting — Thames Media Solutions

Over a two-year period working with Michelle, I crafted hundreds of social media captions, including fun quizzes, carousels, and relatable post copy.

the challenge.

Thames Media Solutions is a digital and social media marketing agency for online brands. I was tasked to write engaging social media copy for one of the founders, Michelle.

The solution.

Michelle hired me to strategize and create social media posts that aligned with her brand personality while also promoting her amazing offers, including her nationally recognized podcast with over 100k worldwide downloads. Over a two-year period working with Michelle, I crafted hundreds of social media captions, including fun quizzes, carousels, and relatable post copy. Her social media content was so rich and engaging that she repurposed it for emails and longer-form audio content. Here’s a snapshot of some of her content.

The brand archetype.

Since Michelle is an influencer who runs a agency that focuses on social media, I used the Girl Next Door Brand Archetype to bring a friendly, modest and welcoming tone to her content. When people come across her social media posts they feel:

  1. Like she is a good friend.
  2. Apart of a community.
  3. Accepted.
